The Belimo Group, a global leader in the field of actuator solutions for regulating and controlling heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, has appointed Lars van der Haegen (42) as the new head of Americas and member of the Group Executive Committee.

Mr. van der Haegen has been employed by Belimo in various positions for 10 years. From 2000 to 2002 he was head of Product Management Air Volume Control Europe, from 2003 to 2006 he served as head of Product Management and Marketing at BELIMO Aircontrols (USA) Inc. in Danbury, and since 2007 he has been managing director of BELIMO Servomotori S.r.l. in Zanica (Bergamo), Italy. While working in the US, he also attended Columbia Business School in New York and the London Business School, earning his MBA. Mr. van der Haegen will take up his new position on January 1, 2011.
