Refrigerants that deliver high performance and savings will be a major topic at the ACR 2012 exhibition. A-Gas is taking the opportunity to showcase its product offerings that boost businesses’ overall green credentials.

One of the most talked about newcomers and enjoying a popular take up by the retail industry is Genetron® Performax™ LT, developed by Honeywell. Genetron® Performax™ (R407F) offers the lowest GWP (Global Warming Potential) of commonly available refrigerant blends and is suitable for retrofits and new equipment.

A low GWP and superior performance makes it attractive for existing equipment. It is a derivative of the R407 family – R32/R125/R134a and is a top performing low and medium temperature HFC refrigerant with a zero ODP, which ranks it as an ideal choice in replacing R22 /R404A/R407A in existing commercial refrigeration installations. It has a higher capacity than R404A+ R407A and its lower GWP at 1825 is half that of R404A and has an A1 safety classification. It is non-toxic and non- flammable.

As a preferred supplier, Performax LT is part of A-Gas’ extensive portfolio which also includes a CO2 filling station and dedicated cylinder fleet along with hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants and secondary heat transfer fluids.
