Alfa Laval, a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal
separation and fluid handling, has received an order for an evaporation system
to be delivered to the American company Pioneer Americas, LLC. The order value is approximately SEK 65 million,
including a ten year maintenance agreement. Delivery will take place during
2008.
The
objective of the project is to increase the capacity of and modernize the
customers facility in Louisiana. This is Alfa Lavals
largest caustic evaporation system order up to now, and includes evaporators,
heat exchangers and services, reveals the companys press release. This
evaporation system increases the concentration of sodium hydroxide from 32% to
50%.
This order confirms Alfa Lavals significant presence and leading position in
the heat transfer technology and, as in this case, in the evaporation area,
says Lars Renström, President and CEO of Alfa Laval. It
also shows the strength of our continuous development of customized products in
the aftermarket area. |
