AVTECH Software  recently announced the integration of Heat Index (HI) monitoring to its Room Alert line of ‘IT & Facilities Environment Monitoring’ products. According to the company’s press release, the new Heat Index represents how hot it actually ‘feels’ in an area by mathematically combining the current temperature and relative humidity.

Room Alert allows easy monitoring of conditions including temperature, humidity, power, flood, smoke, room entry, heat index and more.

By incorporating the Heat Index function into Room Alert, AVTECH allows managers to reduce the risk of downtime and ensure that working conditions are within acceptable ranges specified by various agencies and/or regulations.
