Frigopol, an Austrian company
with more than 50 years experience in refrigeration and air conditioning
technology, recently announced its new frequency-controlled compressor units
Typerange VCC (Variable Capacity Control) for a range of control of 15 - 75Hz (cooling
capacity range approx. 20kW). According to the companys press release, the
frequency control represents the most efficient control of a cold weather air
conditioning system.
By the adjustment of the
operating frequency of the compressor, the number of revolutions is changed,
whereby the optimal performance figure of the motor and partial load ranges is
permanently reached, and very high switching frequency is avoided. The
frequency control represents the most efficient regulation of a cooling/air
conditioning system and offers precise cooling capacity and very many cost
effective economic advantages.
The ranges of application include capacity optimization in refrigerant
plants with many coolers, reduction of the variations in temperature in
coolers, regulation of a constant room temperature from air conditioning
systems, regulation of a constant water temperature of waterchiller sets
without buffer memory, and optimization of power fluctuations of large
refrigerant plants. |
