In Autumn 2007 Glow-worm, an
experienced home heating systems developer, will launch its new Clearly Solar
range - an easy to use, high performance solar thermal system that can reduce
the cost of heating domestic water.
Typically, solar will provide 50-60% of the
homeowners annual domestic hot water needs. In the summer this can be as high
as 100%, meaning the boiler will never have to fire up and it wont be
necessary to use any gas, which helps save money on gas bills.
Solar thermal
just needs diffused light to operate, so even when the sun isn't shining it is
still possible to generate energy to heat domestic hot water. Clearly Solar
systems are made up of a simple 1, 2 or 3 panel solar pack and a twin coil
cylinder, reveals the companys press release. This allows for the creation of
a basic solar hot water system. |
