Testo AG, a world leading manufacturer of
standing and portable measurement systems that has celebrated 50 years last
September, recently presented its new thermal imager 880, a competitively priced
state-of-the-art technology for industrial and building thermography.
Thermal imagers are used to inspect buildings and for prevention and
maintenance. It is possible to test materials and components without
interfering in operation and to detect problem areas before a malfunction can
occur. Even the smallest temperature differences can be registered due to the
use of a high quality germanium optic that perfectly receives infrared
radiation, reveals the companys press release. With a minimum focus distance
of 10 cm,
it features an integrated digital camera that allows users to add both real and
thermographic images on screen.
It also presents surface humidity on screen through humidity measurement
and calculation of the parameters, which allows for fast localization of mold
risk spots; it is only necessary to plug a humidity probe among those available
from Testos line of products. Because it is easy to use, it also produces
perfect results. The new Testo 880 comes in three versions, each with function
and feature set adapted to every application area. |
