Trane, a leading global provider of cooling
and heating systems and services, recently announced its Gold Sponsorship of
the Green Building Congress 2007, which took place at the Chennai Trade Centre
on September 19th – 21st.
During this year’s edition of
the Green Building Congress, an annual event on green buildings and the
environment, India’s
challenges, issues and opportunities related to sustainability were discussed.
As a gold sponsor, Mike Thompson, Director of Environmental Affairs at Trane, spoke
about delivering efficiency through integrated systems. According to the
company’s press release, his presentation shared perspectives on energy
efficiency in heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) technologies and
its role in environmental responsibility.
Trane is involved with multiple green
building projects in India
and showcased its building technology and displayed its system automation
architecture which controls building and HVAC systems.
