Underwriters Laboratories (UL), an independent, non-profit certifying organization, recently announced it will be present at the 35th International Hotel Industry Trade Fair (HOST), which will take place on October 19th – 23rd in Milan (Italy).

The certifying organization will be in Hall 11, stand S68, and will be presenting new hotel professional products exports standards for the USA and Canada. During the fair standard UL471, specifically designed for professional refrigeration equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, cold drink dispensers, ice cream trolleys and dispensers, as well as other similar products, will also be discussed. In these cases, the main difference between Europe and the USA is the request to also evaluate refrigerator circuit components.

UL will further showcase the international certification programme Scheme CB (44 countries) and other certifications, such as those that allow access to asian and latin-american markets.
