Distech Controls receives Deloitte Technology Award |

Distech Controls, a
leading Canadian provider of building automation and energy management
solutions, ranks 30th among the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50
fastest growing technology companies in Canada, based on the percentage of
revenue growth over five years. Distech Controls also obtained the prestigious
Deloitte Technology Green 15 Award, an award created last year to showcase 15
Canadian companies that are leading the way to create major breakthroughs in
the field of green technology.
Companies such as Distech Controls are creating technology solutions
that have both a significant environmental impact and demonstrate a compelling
return on investment. In doing so, they are helping position Canada as a
global leader in the development of commercially-viable green technology,
explained Pierre Brodeur, leader of Deloittes Quebec TMT industry group. Distech
Controls' CEO and President, Mr. Etienne Veilleux, credits the companys strong
growth with a continuous dedication to research and development and a sustained
focus on the development of international markets.
Distech Controls has also announced the appointment of two sales managers
for North America and an international sales manager for India. As
Regional Sales Manager, Jeff Wilson, will be responsible for channel
development, product application support and for supporting relationships with
clients in Central USA. Brian Seiderman,
Regional Sales Manager for Western North America,
brings senior management and technical experience in controls,
electro-mechanical devices and instrumentation. Distech Controls has also
created a sales service point in Mumbai, India and appointed Vinayak Athavale as Sales
Manager for India.
He brings strong technical experience in HVAC with experience in supervision of
installation, commissioning and operation of building automation systems,
