EPTA, a European leader and global partner in the commercial refrigeration sector for the retailer business with its brands Costan, Bonnet Névé, BKT and George Barker, announced the acquisition of Euro'Cryor, an important international company from the Gasser+Partner Group, leader in top range refrigerated cabinets. In this acquisition EPTA was assisted by Mediobanca.

According to EPTA, Euro’Cryor will allow a further enlargement of its product portfolio with flexible and tailor-made solutions for top range shops, whilst strengthening its own presence in the East European markets, South America and Middle East, where important growth in demand is seen. With this acquisition EPTA becomes the undisputed leader also in tailor-made solutions. The group leadership becomes more important thanks to the Euro’Cryor brand, which starts a new path towards common objectives: proximity to the reference markets, turn-key solutions, high quality standard and responsiveness in service. “The operation that has brought Euro'Cryor into our Group,” comments the President, Professor Guido Corbetta, “is part of a wider programme of development and expansion for EPTA, providing a solid and dependable partner to face the new challenges of the refrigeration market. This confirms and consolidates our position of leader in the more competitive outlook that is evolving”.

Euro'Cryor S.p.A. was founded in 1991 in the Padova province and has become important in the production and commercialization of refrigerated cabinets. Ever since, famous for its high quality standards, reliability and highly customized products, the company has developed in detail its offering. The company has a worldwide presence with offices in Austria, Germany, UK, Russia, Mexico, Chile and USA. Euro’Cryor made in 2007 (the year of its greater expansion) a turn-over of about €25 millions with two important production sites in Italy and Austria, reveals the company’s press release.
