eurammon, a joint European
initiative of companies, institutions and individuals who advocate an increased
use of natural refrigerants, will be present at Chillventa 2008. On 15 October, it opens its gates in Nuremberg for
the first time.
As a
patron, eurammon will support the new international trade fair for
refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps and, as an exhibitor, offer the
international professional visitors comprehensive information on all aspects of
refrigeration technology using natural refrigerants. Apart from this, the
initiative is hosting a lecture series on the second day of the fair, providing
information about the benefits of natural refrigerants to plant designers,
operators and builders under the heading Refrigeration Applications with
Natural Refrigerants. The event takes
place on 16 October (9:3011:30, CCN East, Room Kiev, Level 2) and the programme
includes an introduction by Monika Witt, Chairwoman of eurammon. Afterwards,
the following presentations will take place:
- 9:30: Recent
Developments in Carbon Dioxide Cooling in Data Centres and Buildings, Alan
Walkinshaw, Star Refrigeration Ltd.
- 10:00: Smart and
Natural, Detlef Lukas, Johnson Controls Systems & Service GmbH
- 10:30: The past and the
present of ammonia refrigerating systems in Ukraine what should be done for

- 11:00: Supermarket

After the lectures, eurammon will host a Brunch for Friends of Natural
Refrigerants at its booth (Hall 1, No. 314) from 11:3014:00, giving
interested parties an opportunity to follow up on the information presented and
network with people in the international refrigeration/air-conditioning
