Demand for the main product
groups of Halton has grown considerably
over the last few years. The new factory beginning production in Kausala, Finland,
increases production capacity and brings flexibility particularly to the
manufacture of chilled beams.
Over the last few years, the turnover of the Halton Group has grown by nearly
20% a year as a consequence of the rapid positive development in all of Haltons
business areas. The popularity of life-cycle-efficient solutions has increased
at a rapid pace in all major markets. The investments in chilled beam
production made in Kausala nearly doubled Haltons production capacity. In
addition, Halton has launched licence manufacturing in Europe and Australia in
order to meet the increased demand. The new factory in
Kausala is a continuation of the investments we have been making. The
factory brings flexibility and increased capacity for production. It enables us to offer our clients faster and more flexible beam
deliveries, said Bengt Avellan, director of the Halton Indoors business unit.
The investment also enables future growth for the product groups
manufactured in Kausala. Despite the current uncertainty in the economy, active
construction work continues in many markets. In
addition, the demand for life-cycle-efficient solutions is growing, reveals the
companys press release. We have continued to develop indoor technologies,
such as the Halton AdaptableClimate solution. We also received significant
orders in several product groups in our strong market areas as well as from new
markets last year. We believe that the strong growth will continue in the
coming year, said Avellan.
