Daikin Europe recently announced the launching of the new EWYD-BZ inverter units, a new addition to the Heat Pump Inverter series available in two versions – standard noise and low noise (6.5 dBA reduction) – with an extensive capacity range (cooling capacity from 250 to 580 kW) designed for a variety of commercial applications. The innovative units use inverter-driven single screw compressors, resulting in considerable savings in annual energy costs in both heating and cooling operations.

The new series uses R-134a refrigerant, the most efficient and environmentally-friendly refrigerant for screw compressors on the market and are ideal for commercial comfort cooling and/or heating applications in office buildings, shop complexes, hotels, etc. Available in thirteen sizes between 250-580 kW, the units can be combined to efficiently serve even the largest applications.
