Danfoss, a leading global
manufacturer of electronic controls, components, compressors, heat exchangers
and variable-speed drives for air conditioning and refrigeration, recently
announced some changes to its top management.
From November 1st, Nis Storgaard will become the Executive Vice President and Chief
Development Officer (CDO) of the Danfoss Executive Committee. At the same time,
the President of the Bitten and Mads Clausen Foundation, Per Have, will take up
the reins as the new corporate Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The present
Executive Vice President and CFO, Frederik Lotz, will resign from the Danfoss
Executive Committee to take up a new position as Finance Director at Arla
Foods. Following these changes, the Danfoss Executive Committee will be made up
of Niels B. Christiansen, Kim Fausing and Nis Storgaard.
We are
implementing the first elements of a new strategy that is set to secure Danfoss
competitiveness through an unambiguous focus on our core businesses, says
President and CEO Niels B. Christiansen. At the same time we are intensifying
our efforts to reduce our debt and strengthen our ability to act as quickly as
possible. The alteration of the groups top management is an important step in
this process.
