LG Electronics, a pioneer and leader
in home appliance convergence as well as the worlds leading air conditioner
manufacturer, recently announced the new Duct-Free Flex
Multi-Split Multi-Zone
air-conditioning system. The new system can operate up to four units mounted in
separate rooms and features built-in inverter technology to enhance energy
efficiency.
According to Kelly
Cutchins, vice president, Commercial Air Conditioning, LG Electronics USA Inc,
customers such as architects, building engineers and consumers will appreciate
LG's ongoing enhancements to its broad range of cost and energy-efficient
climate control solutions that offer advanced functionality, stylish design and
quiet operation.
"With the
introduction of the Duct-Free Flex-Multi model earlier this year, LG is leading
the industry in providing advanced zoning and climate control solutions,"
said Cutchins. "With the consumer in mind, LG is focused on improving our
existing product line with tax-rebate qualifying models to help reduce energy
costs in the home and provide more efficient heating and cooling options that
don't detract from the decor of the home."
On display at Comfortech 2009, this model now
qualifies for residential tax credit benefits in the 9,000, 12,000, and 18,000
and 24,000 BTU product categories with SEER ratings of 21 (both 9k and 12k
BTU), 19 and 18 respectively. |
