Rheem presents its new thermal storage tank |

Rheem, a company that
manufactures a full-line of high-quality residential and commercial heating,
cooling, water heating, swimming pool and spa heaters, as well as a line of
commercial boilers, r ecently introduced the Marathon two-port thermal storage
tank, designed for solar, geothermal and hydronic water heating systems.
According to the Rheem’s press release, it
features a rust- and corrosion-resistant inner tank encased in a polyurethane
foam insulation to minimize heat loss through the walls of the tank and reduce
energy consumption.
Innovatively designed, the
new Marathon Two-Port Thermal Storage Tank provides building professionals with
a light-weight, energy-efficient thermal storage tank with the installation
flexibility to fit a wide variety of applications. In addition, it also
features the same non-metallic construction as the Marathon Lifetime
Residential Electric Water Heater that was recognized with a Consumer Award
from the Society of Plastic Engineers.
