The Wall Street Journal, the prestigious U.S. independent business daily journal, awarded ClimateWell, specialized in air conditioning under the Solar Cooling technology power, in the 2010 Global Technology Innovation Awards. The company, selected from over 600 nominations, won the second prize in the Best Technology for the Environment category.
"Neither the financial crisis could limit the impressive number of innovative projects that exist around the world and offer great hope for the future," said Scott D. Anthony, CEO of Innosight Companeis and jury of the awards. "Many of the candidates have the potential to literally change the world".
For its part, the CEO of ClimateWell, Per Olofsson, said: "The Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation awards are particularly strict in terms of rigor in the selection process and the information required by companies who presented the awards. For this reason, we are especially pleased to receive recognition from all of these technologies because, without doubt, some of them can offer a very different world.
