RSES is pleased to announce Dr. Alan P. Krasnoff, the Mayor of Chesapeake, Va., as the keynote speaker at the 2011 RSES Annual Conference and HVACR Technology Expo on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 8 a.m. Economic challenges and opportunities facing communities in the 21st century will be the focus of Krasnoffs address during the opening ceremonies of the 74th Annual Conference, which will be held in conjunction with the 22nd RSES Annual Mid-Southeast Regional Association Educational Conference, and will take place at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel in Norfolk, Va., on Nov. 2-5, 2011.
Krasnoff was elected Mayor of Chesapeake, Va., in May 2008. He was first elected to City Council in May 1990 and then re-elected in May 1994, 1998, 2002 and 2006.

Krasnoff is a graduate of Queens College and National College of Chiropractic. He then received his Masters Degree from Norfolk State University in Urban Education and Counseling, K-12. He is self-employed as a chiropractor and previously served as a director of Chesapeake Juvenile Advisory Board. |
