AERCO
International,
a leading supplier of commercial boilers and water-heating products,
introduces two AERCO Boiler Valve Controllers that can help reduce
energy consumption and operating costs of variable-flow heating
systems. Designed for use with the AERCO Benchmark and KC1000
boilers, the boiler valve controllers automatically sequence each
motor operated valve (MOV), so that minimum system flow requirements
are reduced to that of a single boiler.
AERCO
has designed the boiler valve controllers with a time delay function
to eliminate the temperature faults of isolated boilers. Programmable
from 1-30 minutes, the function allows residual heat to be absorbed
into the heating system prior to closing the boiler isolation valve.
If a boiler is firing, the corresponding valve cannot be moved to the
CLOSED position to avoid temperature overshoot. When system
demand is satisfied, the boiler valve controller opens all MOVs to
prevent system pump dead head conditions.
Two
valve controllers for 4-
and 12-boiler systems are available. Both feature user-friendly
PLC controls to simplify system set up. Operation can be done through
the 3, high-contrast digital display, which also makes it easy to
view settings.
