Carrier opens new eService Center to reduces costs for food retail customers PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 08 March 2010

CarrierCarrier Corporation, a world leader in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR), has recently opened a European Refrigeration e*Services facility, which remotely monitors food retail locations and provides Carrier's customers with the benefits of improved food safety and equipment uptime while reducing service costs, energy consumption, and after-hours call-outs for store managers.

The e*Services facility, located in Erfurt, Germany, is staffed 24 hours per day, 365 days per year with qualified remote monitoring personnel ready to actively solve refrigeration issues for Carrier's retail customers. According to the company’s press release, approximately 80 percent of the alarms are resolved without dispatch of a service technician, saving time and helping to ensure that small problems do not become big problems.

"The investment made in Carrier's Refrigeration e*Services facility allows us to leverage the size and service focus of Carrier for the benefit of our food retail customers. The many benefits of this service and the low connection cost should be incentives for more customers to opt for the security of remote monitoring," stated Guillaume Renaud, director of service for Carrier Commercial Refrigeration.
