Friday, 05 March 2010

DwyerDwyer Instruments, Inc., a leading manufacturer in the controls and instrumentation industry, announced the release of its new Series ZV2 and 3ZV2 Zone Valves, suitable for use with temperature controllers and thermostats to control temperature in HVAC systems.

According to the company’s press release, the valves control the flow of hot and cold water in the HVAC system thereby controlling temperature. In addition, the zone valves incorporate manual overrides, and are for use with supply voltages of 120 VAC, 24 VAC, or 220 VAC. Inputs available are floating or modulating with 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 VDC. Modulating valves feature a motor timer that automatically turns off the motor after the full stroke to extend motor life.
