New solar stations for Emmeti's Arcobaleno collectors PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 20 May 2008

Emmeti Arcobaleno collectors stationEmmeti’s Arcobaleno collectors, the practical and efficient heating/hot water solution for the public and private building industry, are now equipped with new and even more functional differential regulators with microprocessors.

The range of products, recently completed with the innovative VP evacuated-tube collector - in addition to the well-consolidated N models, with black collection area surface, and the SX and SI models (built-in), with a blue selective surface -, is used in closed-circuit solar energy systems for producing domestic hot water, heating swimming pools or pre-heating and/or additional heating in room heating systems with extremely reduced pressure losses. The new solar stations, available in various versions, are equipped with high-temperature safety and vent accessories that allow to complete the solar energy system in maximum efficiency as well as adapt it to the various local environments. The presence of two differential regulators allows the solar energy to be used for the heating system also, reveals the company’s press release.

The thermal insulation, for the N, SX and SI models, is in high-density mineral wool with a thickness of 50 mm. The internal surface of the double-walled evacuated tube of the VP Arcobaleno collector has a selective coating in high-absorption aluminium nitrite. In addition, the parabolic shape of the CPC mirror further concentrates the sunlight and increases the system’s efficiency.
