Thermo King extends SLX range to include new Multi-temperature models |

Following the overwhelming success of the
market-leading SLX range, leading refrigerated transport specialist, Thermo King, has launched a full
multi-temperature range based on the proven SLX concept.
 The SLX Spectrum has been designed to deliver the
same benefits as the SLX platform, but with greater results. These include
improved fuel economy with up to 30% less fuel used than the SL Spectrum and
increased green credentials with 30% less CO2 emitted.
With whisper-quiet operation the SLX Spectrum is up
to 65% quieter than its predecessor thanks to the integration of low noise
components running at lower speeds. Ideally suited to operating on distribution
runs in urban environments and low emission zones, the unit has been designed
to increase driver comfort and also to permit use in noise-sensitive
environments.
The SLX Spectrum also offers operators all the
benefits of the industry’s most advanced controller, the multilingual Smart
Reefer 2 (SR-2,) within a multi-temp unit. This ensures that the system is easy
to use and easy to read with up to three trailer compartments visible
simultaneously on the same screen.
