Vent-Axia, a provider of
electric systems to control fresh air, has launched OPAL, a new series of
energy efficient panel heaters. Slimline
and stylishly designed, the OPAL range is an ideal wall-mounted heating
solution for applications, extending from residential and student accommodation
to apartments and hotel rooms.
The Vent-Axia OPAL range is
available in five outputs from 0.5kW to 2.0kW. A variety of energy efficient
control options are offered, including multiple zone control, holiday mode and
frost protection, to keep running costs low and help achieve compliance with
Part L of the Building Regulations. The OPAL Series features either an
electronic or mechanical thermostat as standard. The silent operating
electronic thermostat is accurate to +/-0.3oC and acts quickly to maintain
consistent levels and comfort. For larger installations, energy saving and
controllable comfort is extended by the fully programmable central zone control
options which enable up to 15 heaters to be linked together in an integrated
system. Mechanical temperature control offers a range of pre-set outputs
including an eco setting that offers a balance between comfort and energy
use.
BEAB approved and IP 24
rated (splash proof), OPAL is easy to install on detachable wall-mounted
brackets and is connected to a standard 240v mains circuit. Added safety in
public areas is also guaranteed with the optional tamper-proof (or restricted
use) control panel. According to the companys press release, an automatic
thermal cut-out prevents accidental overheating.
