Wigam, an Italian company which develops and manufactures high technology refrigeration and air conditioning equipment since 1976, recently announced its new fully automatic unit for the installation and maintenance of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.

This new unit, small in size (420x250x560 cm) and low in weight (20 kg), can work with all CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants (R410A included). It features a  dual stage high vacuum pump (66lt or 180lt) and is equipped with 2 flexible hoses 2,5mt and 4 shut-off valves, as well as 2 pressure transducers (-0.99 /44.9 bar) and 3 temperature probes (-30.0 / +125.0 °C). The Unika has an automatic refrigerant charge function with a capacity of 35kg and charging accuracy of 5g. Also included are the automatic nitrogen discharge/refrigerant recovery function, automatic nitrogen (N2) discharge into atmospheric air with muffler filter and refrigerant recovery system connecting the unit to the PC.
