AIISA and NADCA announce ASCS examination in Italy an in Italian |

AIISA (Associazione Italiana Igienisti Sistemi Aeraulici Italian
Association of Hygienists of HVAC Systems) and NADCA ( National Air Duct Cleaners Association)
announce that on October 4th-5th 2007 the examination to obtain the ASCS degree
(Air System Cleaning Specialist ) will take place in Roma-Italy.
The ASCS certification not only underlines
the professional growth of the candidates, but gives an international
credibility to the professional candidate related to his acknowledge and
competence in the field of hygiene of HVAC systems, stated Giorgio Ziragachi, President
of AIISA and Regional Coordinator of NADCA for Region 12 ( Italy, Portugal,
Greece, Cyprus, Turkey). The content of the examination
is based on a scientific survey of NADCA members who engage in the practice of
HVAC system cleaning. This survey evaluated the relative importance of the
knowledge and skills that comprise the practice of HVAC system cleaning. The topics of the examinations are relevant to Indoor Air Quality,
safety, installation practice on field, and all the applicatory aspects in the
field of Cleaning and Sanification of HVAC systems, reveals the associations
press release.
This is a
multiple-choice, written or web-based examination measuring the knowledge
required for safe and effective HVAC system cleaning for both residential and
commercial settings. It is the
first time that said examinations will be performed in Italy and in Italian.
