Responding to energy and environmental saving campaigns to prevent
global warming, the Department of Export Promotion (DEP), Ministry of Commerce of Thailand,
plans to make use of the Bangkok Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation, and
Air-Conditioning 2007 (Bangkok RHVAC 2007)
to manifest latest green production technology used in the industry and
innovated products and equipments on display.
Bangkok RHVAC 2007, one of ASEANs top industrial fairs, will be taking
place at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna, on
September 12th 16th, and is organized by DEP in
collaboration with the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry Club under
the Federation of Thai Industry (FTI). According to the organizers press
release, this year Bangkok RHVAC 2007, the worlds top-5 air-conditioning and
refrigeration trade show, will be organized in parallel with Bangkok E&E
2007 (electric and electronics fair) and Thailand International Logistics Fairs
2007, ASEANs largest and most comprehensive logistics show. Visitors will be
able to attend all 3 events simultaneously at the same venue and on the same
dates.
Mr. Anont Simakulthon, Chairman of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry
Club, under the Federation of Thai Industry, said: As the cost of energy
keeps rising, consumers tend to use more energy-saving and recyclable products.
As yet, I do believe that consumers
still rely on Thai products, due to the capability of Thai producers. The theme of this
years RHVAC is Clean Environment and Cooling Comfort, aiming to promote
energy-saving and environmental-friendly refrigeration and air-conditioning equipments
and technology, such as the use of nanotechnology in the manufacturing process and
the use of solar energy cells, which are currently in great demand among the
worlds industrial and business sectors.
