LonMark International, a
non-profit trade association which has become a major driving force in the
establishment of interoperable guidelines for building, industrial, transportation,
residential, and utility automation, has recently announced its full support of
LonWorld 2007, which will be taking place on November 14th 15th
in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Energy and Control, the two-day event consists of a conference
and a full exhibition, both offering visitors an in-depth view of LON
technology applications and benefits in homes, buildings and industrial
structures, as well as street lighting, infrastructure and transport. LonMark
International is a leading sponsor of the event, recognizing its importance in
furthering energy conservation and economic sustainability, reveals the
associations press release. With the market constantly changing, LonWorld has
taken the industry movement in-stride, re-defining its focus and expanding into
new areas, said Ron Bernstein, Executive Director, LonMark International.
LonWorld brings the entire controls market together, allowing the
possibilities and benefits of LON to be discovered through partnerships that
otherwise would not take place.
In addition to hosting a booth in the exhibition hall, LMI will also be
presenting at the LonWorld Conference. The
conference this year is the first of its kind, said Bernstein. It is overseen
by an independent advisory committee and covers all automation segments
focusing specifically on energy, energy efficiency and exploring how LON can be
applied in new and intelligent applications.
