Airconfort, a leader in air conditioning projects and installations in Cantabria (Spain), announced it has joined the multinational Dalkia, an European leader in Energy Services, through its subsidiary Giroa, located in the north of Spain.

Dalkia, an European leader in energy management, has 2.300 employees and a turnover of 330 million euro. It is present in Spain through such companies as Dalkia Energía y Servicios (Castilla y León, Castilla La Mancha, Andalucía and Extremadura), Altair (Galicia), Agefred (Cataluña), Ageval (Levante), Teice (Madrid), Dalkia Solar (Valencia) and Giroa (North of Spain). Globally, Dalkia has 58.000 employees and a turnover of 7.000 million euro, leading the energy sector of multinational Veolia Environnment, with a turnover of 32.000 million euro.

The aim of joining Airconfort to the Dalkia group is to maintain the leadership in the Cantabria Community in the air conditioning sector, incorporating new technologies for the energy management of buildings, an activity led by Dalkia in the rest of Spain. According to the company’s press release, Airconfort will maintain the brand, head office and work team. Jaime Sordo González, the current manager of the Society, becomes General Manager and Chairman of the Board, promoting the incorporation of New Technologies to achieve new and better commitments to its clients all through its path.
