Under the slogan Objects of Desire Compressor Solutions Based on Current Market Trends, Bock Kältemaschinen GmbH is presenting its range of compressors for mobile refrigerating/air conditioning applications at the IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hanover, Germany, from 25 September to 2 October.
On the stand of this company based in Frickenhausen near Stuttgart, compressor solutions oriented around current market trends for refrigerating/air conditioning systems will play a central role. One highlight and a genuine product innovation to be found on the Bock stand G12 in Hall 11 are semi-hermetic aluminium lightweight compressors designed for use e.g. in hybrid and trolley buses. By realising these compressors in aluminium it was possible to achieve a weight reduction of some 30%, which has a positive impact on energy consumption. Whereas hybrid technology is still in its infancy, trolley buses are experiencing a renaissance worldwide. These new semi-hermetic aluminium lightweight compressors are ideal for both applications.
While the environmental debate with regard to future refrigerants has not yet reached a conclusive outcome, Bock will be presenting solutions for using the natural refrigerant CO2 at the IAA Commercial Vehicles show, reveals the companys press release. Bock offers its partners an open vehicle compressor in the FK series as well as the semi-hermetic radial piston compressor RKX for developing transcritical CO2 refrigerating/air conditioning systems.
