The judging for the prestigious Cooling Industry Awards 2008 has taken place. Ray Gluckman once again chaired a panel of key industry professionals, including representatives from Marks and Spencer and ASDA, two of the UK’s biggest supermarkets. Together they have rewarded the best in eco-friendly technologies, services and solutions within the UK’s refrigeration and air-conditioning sector.

The award categories for 2008 embrace “Green End Users” on large and small projects and specific “Installations” in the retail and commercial/industrial sector. It also recognises “Environmental Pioneers” in air conditioning and refrigeration, and celebrates the best service innovation, training initiative and marketing campaign of the year. Winners will be announced at a special gala dinner on the evening of Wednesday 1 October, at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel, reveals the organizer’s press release.
