Saunier Duval has added to its wide electric
boilers offer the new AQ-Elec series for the production of DHW, featuring a
modern design, an attractive and practical digital display, and available in a
full range of models from 50 up to 120 litre vertical mount and in cylindrical or
prismatic shape for all outputs.
Made of high density polyurethane, its effective insulation keeps the
temperature stable. This avoids a high number of resistance switch ons, which
implies big energy savings, lower costs and environmental protection. Furthermore,
they are adjustable in a wide temperature range - 30 to 70°C -, allowing for its
installation as support to solar energy solutions, and the insulation of these
devices is CFC-free. The high sensitivity adjustable thermostat allows for the
maintenance of accumulated water at the desired temperature. In case of failure,
and according to the European regulation, a security thermostat will be
activated that immediately disconnects, avoiding the risk of burns.
An anti-freeze safety will activate the resistance when the water temperature drops
below 10°C
and rises it up to 15, which avoids freezing breaks. An hydraulic system protects
the device against pressure rises avoiding its deterioration. Finally, the
tank, made of steel plate, is protected inside by a glaze housing vitrified at
900ºC. This, together with the magnesium anode and some dielectric sleeves,
avoids corrosion problems, reveals the companys press release.
