Air Conditioning Accessories launches specialist training for SANYO's carbon dioxide technology PDF Print E-mail

sanyoSANYO distributor Air conditioning Accessories recently announced the launching of a specialist installer training for the unique carbon dioxide-based ECO heat pump heating system. The company has invested in a dedicated facility at its premises in Leeds, which includes a working demonstration model of the new high efficiency technology that is challenging the supremacy of the traditional gas boiler in domestic and small commercial applications.

The training programme supports the national roll-out of SANYO’s C02 ECO system, which was launched at the H&V/RAC 09 and Ecobuild earlier this year, bringing to five the number of centres across the UK now offering CO2 heat pump training.

“The technology is a winner. There really is nothing to touch it in the market at the moment,” says Richard Stewart, who heads the Leeds branch. “Any competent refrigeration and air conditioning installer will have no problem installing or maintaining the system. However, the course is an essential prerequisite as it highlights the slightly unusual operating characteristics of carbon dioxide, which differ in some respects to conventional refrigerant-based systems.”
