Bitzer launches new generation of scroll compressors for air-conditioning applications |

Bitzer, one of the
largest manufacturers of refrigerant compressors for commercial and industrial
 applications, has introduced the GSD8 Series of Compact
Scroll compressors for use in air-conditioning applications, offering lower
energy consumption with minimal noise emissions.
According
to the company’s press release, the GSD8 series includes five different
compressor types and offers the lowest noise emissions of its performance
class. High efficiency, smooth running, low weight and reliability are also
characteristic of the GSD8.
Spirals
of equal temperature level ensure high operational reliability and smooth
running thanks to a specially patented cooling procedure. Optimised for systems
with a high seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER), the GSD8 series offers a
reliable and cost-effective performance for R410A applications with nominal
outputs of between 15 and 35 PS (displacements of 29.9 to 67.6 m3/h
at 50 Hz).
