Carel launches new integrated control solution for heat pumps |

CAREL, a well known Italian company that offers innovative
humidification and control systems to the HVACR market, has recently launched
the first complete integrated electronic solution for heat pumps and room
temperature control.
 According to the company’s press release, the main functions for the
heat pump are the management of water-water and air-water units; the operation
in both heating and cooling mode; the management of domestic hot water
production; the integration with heaters or boilers; the calculation of cost effectiveness
of heat pump-boiler; the use of electronic expansion valves and the compressor
control by inverter (0 to 10 Vdc).
In addition, the system
features integration of domestic hot water with solar collectors; management of
six rooms with two schedulers/zones; humidifier and dehumidifier management;
management of primary air (heat recovery unit fan) and BMS connection with
Modbus® protocol.
