Plastic tubing manufacturer NewAge Industries announces the appointment of Bill Keiser as its new Director of Quality. Keiser has nearly 30 years experience in the field of quality and is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as well as an ASQ Section Chairman. Keiser had been an independent consultant for NewAge before becoming a full time team member in July.
Bill has a wide range of experience in plastic extrusion and injection molding, notes Ken Baker, the companys CEO. His skills will help expand the knowledge of our other team members, especially those on the Quality Team.
Keisers credentials include ASQ certification as a Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), and Certified Mechanical Inspector (CMI). He also sits on several ASTM (American Society for Testing of Materials) committees. Keisers responsibilities at NewAge include overseeing all product quality processes, inspections, documentation, clean room certifications, and training, as well as directing supplier, distributor, and third-party audits.
